Terms of Service

Babylon Bets is a research tool. For sports events it shows the market's consensus price, a clearly-labeled model second opinion, and an open scorecard of how that model has performed against the market. It is provided for informational purposes only.

Babylon Bets is not a sportsbook, an exchange, a broker, or a place to wager. We never accept, hold, or place wagers or trades of any kind. Nothing on the Service is betting advice, investment advice, financial advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any contract. Prediction markets involve risk; you can lose money. Any decision to trade — and every trade you make on any venue — is yours alone.

We publish our model's track record openly, including when it loses to the market. Past performance does not guarantee future results, and we make no promise of accuracy, profitability, or edge.

You must be at least 21 years old to use the Service. By using it you represent that you meet this requirement and that your use is lawful in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for complying with the laws and the rules of any trading venue that apply to you.

You need an account for most features. Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information, and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised. You may delete your account at any time from the Account page.

Paid tiers unlock deeper research. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal linked from your receipt, and you keep access through the end of the period you paid for. Prices may change prospectively — never retroactively for a period you've already paid — and founding-member rates stay at their promised price for as long as the subscription remains active. Refunds are at our discretion; if something went wrong, write to us and we'll make it right.

The Service's research — model outputs, probabilities, edges, calibration and scorecard data, write-ups, and the software that produces them — belongs to Babylon Analytics LLC. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for your own research.

You may not scrape, harvest, bulk-download, or systematically collect content from the Service; republish, redistribute, resell, or syndicate our research; use it to build or train a competing product or dataset; or share paid-tier content outside your own account. Quoting small excerpts publicly with attribution is fine — wholesale redistribution is not.

Market prices shown on the Service are attributed to their venues and remain those venues' data.

Don't break, probe, or overload the Service; don't attempt to access other users' data or non-public areas; don't misrepresent your identity to us; don't use the Service to violate any law or any venue's rules. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with a refund of any unused prepaid period unless the violation is willful.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we can use them without obligation to you. We appreciate them — the feedback widget exists for a reason.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Data feeds, models, and markets all have errors and outages; verify anything that matters before acting on it.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Babylon Bets will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost trades, or trading losses of any kind, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or $100 if you've paid us nothing.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of West Virginia, without regard to conflicts of law. Before filing any claim, contact us — most issues are resolvable by email. Any dispute that can't be will be brought in the state or federal courts located in West Virginia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced on the Service or by email, and the “Last updated” date above will change. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
