Privacy Policy

We run no third-party analytics, no ad trackers, and no advertising pixels— none. We don't sell or share your personal data with anyone for marketing. We collect the minimum needed to run your account and the features you turn on, and you can delete your account — and everything tied to it — yourself, at any time.

Account: your email address and password (the password is stored only as a hash by our auth provider). Optionally, a display name, first name, nickname, country, and state if you provide them during onboarding, plus your confirmation that you are 21 or older.

Preferences and activity you create: your followed sports, watchlisted markets, alert settings, tier-waitlist signups, invite-code redemptions, and any feedback you submit through the feedback widget (with the page you sent it from and basic app-version info).

Anonymous ballots:if you use the public ranking ballots while logged out, we store a random identifier (“babylon_client_id”) in your browser's local storage so your ballot isn't counted twice. It is not linked to your name or email, and clearing your browser storage removes it.

What we don't collect:we don't log your IP address or browsing behavior in our application, we don't fingerprint your device, and we never see your payment card details (payments are handled entirely by Stripe).

We set only the cookies required to keep you signed in (our auth provider's session cookies). There are no advertising or analytics cookies, which is why you don't see a cookie banner here.

To run your account, deliver the features you turn on (like watchlist email alerts), fulfill paid subscriptions, respond to your feedback, and keep the Service secure. That's the list. We don't build advertising profiles, and your data is never used to train AI models — ours or anyone else's. The AI services we use for generating sports write-ups receive game and market data only, never user data.

Four service providers process data on our behalf, each only for its job: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Resend(sending the emails you've opted into), and Stripe (payments — Stripe collects your payment details directly; we never receive them). We share personal data with no one else, except if the law requires it.

Within Babylon Bets, account emails are visible to the operator for support, fulfillment, and feedback triage — the ordinary running of the Service.

We send transactional email (signup confirmation, purchase fulfillment) and, only if you enable them, watchlist alert emails. Every alert email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can manage alerts on your watchlist page. We do not send marketing email.

We keep your data while your account exists. Delete your account from the Account page and your profile, watchlists, preferences, waitlist entries, and redemption records are permanently removed; feedback you submitted is anonymized rather than deleted so bug reports stay useful. Backups age out on our infrastructure providers' standard schedules.

Wherever you live, we honor the spirit of modern privacy law (GDPR, CCPA): you can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Deletion is self-serve; for anything else, email support@babylon-bets.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We don't sell personal data, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

Data is encrypted in transit, access to production data is limited to the operator, database rows are protected by per-user access policies, and payment data never touches our systems. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you promptly.

The Service is for adults 21 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 21; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
